	Founded in 1992, Banco Rendimento’s main focus is the Middle Market -- companies with annual revenues between 20 and 40 million reais – where swift decision-making and a solid relationship between clients and the bank are highly valued. Transparent relationships and customized solutions are our hallmarks. This translates into constant visits to customers, understanding their needs and providing speedy solutions – both for financial investments and for long- or short-term loans, factoring, checks, guarantees, surety bonds and bill collection, among others. Since 2001, Banco Rendimento has guided its efforts to the Floating Exchange market (also known as Tourism Exchange), which has become a growth area within the company. With its innovative products and a policy of continuous improvement, the bank stands out as one of the most active institutions in the Brazilian market, and has now entered an ebullient phase of new challenges and opportunities. In January 2002, Banco Rendimento acquired Cotação DTVM S.A., Brazil’s largest Tourism Exchange company. With more than 150,000 registered customers, Cotação was the first ISO-certified Brazilian company in the Tourism Exchange segment and one of the few to negotiate currencies from more than 10 different countries. In 2003, Cotação acquired the brand On Time Exchange Delivery and changed its name to Cotação On Time. Presently, Banco Rendimento is the market’s largest supplier of paper money, importing and exporting a broad variety of currencies – British pound, American dollar and Euro, among others. We also offer our customers full-fledged financial exchange counseling. And, to facilitate your company’s international operations, our International Services division offers a complete portfolio of products, including international money transfers, purchase of foreign currency checks and checking accounts in foreign currency. As part of our expansion strategy and in keeping with the principle of providing solutions to our customers’ every need, we now offer a specialized service called Remittance to expedite the transfer of funds from foreign countries. A related and innovative product – Money Transfer – allows money to be transferred from abroad to a checking account anywhere in Brazil, at no cost to the payee. This is a quick, practical option, with the best rates in the marketplace, and is available for the 3 million Brazilians living overseas. The Prepaid Cards Department was also consolidated in 2004. In partnership with Visa, Banco Rendimento is now the largest issuer of Visa TravelMoney for international travelers. Loaded with American dollars or euros, the card can be used for purchases or withdrawals at ATMs and Visa merchants around the world. (The card is distributed by companies authorized by Banco Rendimento.) In addition to the international travel card, Banco Rendimento also issues prepaid cards in reais. These reloadable Reward Cards are distributed by companies as an incentive for, or recognition of their employees, and can be used for withdrawals and/or purchases in reais at more than 750,000 Visa merchants and 10,000 ATMs around the country. These are all part of the process to consolidate Banco Rendimento as a commercial bank with arguably the strongest presence in the Middle Market and Floating Exchange sectors.
